A group of lawyers in the oil industry, in an open letter addressed to the heads of the three powers on the status of defending Iranian rights in the international arbitration case of the Crescent file, wrote to the correspondent of the Fars News Agency,
Mr. President Hassan Rouhani
Mr. Ali Larijani, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly
Your Excellency Mr. Sadegh Amoli Larijani, Head of the Judiciary
Crescent Case is one of the most complicated, long, vague and sensitive cases among the cases of corruption in Iran. This case has undergone significant ups and downs in different sections, and still the majority of its dimensions are kept confidential. It seems that the clarification of these dimensions, especially in the process of concluding a contract, as well as defending the interests of Iran in the international arbitration of this agreement, including the rights of the Iranian people in the interests of transparency and freedom of information circulation.
Against this background, given that corruption in this case appears to have occurred and the maladication seems to be continuing in this case, doing so would be a minimal response from the system to the general demand for transparency in this case:
۱- Ranjmanet, Mr. Abdullahi, the deputy director of the Supreme National Security Council secretary, Mr. Shamkhani, will be promulgated to protest the progress of the Crescent Contract.
۲٫ The Crescent 93-page bill will be released to the London Supreme Commercial Court. The bill is the latest Crescent defense bill handed over to Mr Zanganeh in February 2013 after a vote of confidence.
۳- The reasons for the resignation of Mr. Asadollah Nouri, the Iranian side, will be published on Crescent Contract.
۴٫ Announce the reasons for the appointment of Pakistan’s Pakistani arbiter, who has no record of successful international arbitration, than Mr. Nouri?
Especially with regard to the fact that Mr Makhtam-e-Ali Khan was the member of the advocacy organization who has given Crescent’s lawyers.
۵٫ The Iranian Arbitrator’s statement will be published in July 2014 in protest against the Crisend’s judgment.
۶٫ The role and details of Mr. Seyyed Asghar’s talks in negotiations with Crescent Corporation will be fully transparent and published.
With the release of these documents, I hope that the rights of the people of Iran will be protected in order to know how to defend their interests.
